Well that one looks purty good,  but I don't have a custom built rifle. Mine is a Marlin Golden 39A built in 1959.

It doesn't have to be a custom made gun or expensive to be loved, I have a Henry lever 22, it's by far shot more than any other 22 I own, everyone loves to shoot it.

Most days it's riding on my ATV, and no spl. care is used to keep it from getting rained on or anything else, it's just plain an excellent "user" 22.

It would be like choosing one of my kids over the others, I can't do it. But it would be an old one over a new one. Something like this Winchester 1890.
I won't be wronged. I won't be insulted. I won't be laid a-hand on. I don't do these things to other people, and I require the same from them.”

Henry 001 large loop lever action.

.
My all time favorite was a first-year-production Ruger 10/22, that i purchased in Germany in 1965.  It collected more coon, squirrel and groundhogs than all my other 22s put together.
I speak in past tense, because i passed it to my oldest grandson years ago, when he returned from his last deployment as a Marine, to Iraq.

Mine would also be my Marlin 39 A.  It’s a near tie with the Winchester M 67 bolt action single shot that my father left me.
It was the only gun he ever owned so I cherish it.

I have to many, but the tops are my Ruger 10/22 that was converted to a heavy barrel target and set in a Hoag over molded stock, a Winchester Model 69A that was converted to a target rifle, and the Remington Model 4 Rolling Block I just had rebarreled and am now working on the rest of the conversion.

This week it would be my Winchester 1885 in 22LR, accurate with several varieties of ammo. Next week, who knows?

My CZ 452 American.  I topped it with a Leupold 2 x 7 and it will put 5 shots inside a dime at 50 yards (if I do my part).
Aim small, miss small!!!
