I am a tree stand hunter in MN. One of the main issues I look at when buying a rifle is how quietly I can get the saftey on. I have found with my 700 Mountian Rifle if I put downward pressure on the safety as I push it on it is close to silent. This really helps when the woods is wet and quiet and one of those stealthy bucks just shows up real close. I have seen some other rifles I like to own so does anyone else have a fix for a clicking or loud saftey?
