All that ^ ^ aside, the sheer
number of online tire kickers has cut
my wheeling and dealing enthusiasm
back to pretty much nil
AMEN!!!!!!!!!!! My favorite lately are the people you exchange a dozen emails or texts with, only to find out that as soon as they get
their paycheck / tax return / stimulus check, their gonna buy it. And then they get belligerent when I won't hold it till then.
The thing that wears me out is the
"post pics please " when none are
really needed. I'd had some boxes
of bullets for sale, and I got that post
pics please from 2 different " buyers "
Well, if you describe " Sierra 308 150
grain number # XXXX , that should be
sufficient for a genuine buyer since they
already know what they're looking for.
One wanted me to open a factory sealed
box and take photos of the bullets.
JMHO- if I'm looking for say, a stainless
steel Walther PPK/S, the chances that
I don't know what one looks like are very
very slim. These days people spend hours
online researching every purchase they
make. Most of those I encounter are just
playing around out of "boredom " and never
intend on buying anything. ( how the bleep
do people get so bored these days?)
