Does The Masking bother you? Know your rights.

In this video a lawyer explains your rights when it comes to the mask police.  She is a bit of a 'Chatty Kathy', but its better to know your rights than pass out and crack your head open.....-->

The Mask ain't about the Virus....It's about the Sheep being trained to do as their Government Masters tell Them....

I have COPD . I've been diagnosed with chronic bronchitis and asthma. If I'm walking, I cannot have the mask over my nose. I just don't get enough oxy. Here in the Poples republic of Oreegoon, we have a chain of retail stores (Bi-Mart) That I have shopped at for over 40 years. That stopped a couple of weeks ago. I was in their store with a cart of stuff, and was approached by the store Mgr. He informed me I was wearing my mask improperly, and would have to place it over my nose or leave the store. I explained my condition, and he was not impressed. He told me again to wear it properly or leave. I Told him what he could do with the large volume of items I had gathered, and left the store. This is the only retail store I have had this problem with. I complained by email to their corporate office and never received a reply.

I also have COPD and am supposed to be on oxygen 24-7. I stubbornly try to get by without it other than when sleeping but at times pay for it. I also can't and don't wear the masks.

I, also, have developing lung/heart problems (among other things...just finished nine weeks of radiation therapy for the prostate last week.)
About rights....not gonna tell anyone not to do what their conscience tells them is the right thing for them and others. Refer back (google works) to Jacobsen vs. Masachusetts (1905) about requiring smallpox vaccinations. Never been overruled.
Requiring seatbelts. Shopping...”no shirt, no shoes, no service”. Similar stuff.
Maybe this will end up going to court. As of right now, regardless of “Chatty Kathy”, there is  nothing in the U.S. Constitution that says that the Government abrogates its responsibility to protect the health of the public.
Pete
About that video link....what came up was a lawyer telling us not to wear masks.....no reference to any rights issues.
I have a number of problems with what she says....on the one hand she says that masks are too porous to prevent the passage of the virus.(note that masks are not supposed to prevent passage of the virus.) Then, on the other hand, she says that masks are too restrictive to let air pass effectively. Truthfully, I do breath easier without a mask on. I wear one when I am around others, otherwise not.
I have shortness of breath and would much prefer not to be wearing the thing. It has not seemed to affect my O2 levels. I have one of those fingertip O2 meters. I use it regularly. My O2 level, even after riding a bike with a mask on, has never been below 94%. Anecdotal, I know, but then so are hers.

My life long hunting/shooting/reloading mentor and friend had COPD.  Its debilitating effects are not lost on me.  For a long-long time I lived for that man, sixteen years my senior, to take him everywhere he wanted to go, especially to my woods to hunt and shoot.  His end of life crushed me.  I had never known "hollow" as an emotion until then...which affects me still.

Wear a mask for those whose perception of health it improves.  I am wearing no mask except in the places in which I am forced.  I am sick (and tired) of the imposition.  I will stay away from those places to the best of my ability.  If I am ever "accosted" by a "Karen", the sheeple will regret its imposition.  Much frustration will be unleashed.

I DO NOT wear a mask anywhere or anytime. EXCEPT in the doctors office. NEVER DID, and ain't gonna be intimidated into wearing one.

Woman in Walmart walked up yesterday and said; I see your not into this mask wearing.
I said; Never was. I decided what I wear, not the government. Hers was down below her nose, so then she just pulled it off and we shot the breeze about the election all the way out the store.

If the Government told everyone they also needed to wear a diaper, half population would be walking around wearing a diaper cause some jackass governor said to.

With my allergies I can't wear them either, not for very long. I see a lot of people not wearing them, it's a public mutiny going on. Sometimes when walking past another person not wearing a mask they are starting to give
the two finger Victory sign. Or say Freedom!!!

Reading some of the replies herein, I wonder if the whole point of the mask is completely understood. A mask on your face is not going to protect you from me if I happen to be carrying the virus and not wearing a mask. It is there to protect me, or your grandchild or your best friend from you if you happen to be infected. By refusing  to wear one, you are, in effect saying “too bad for you if I make you sick.”

LOL, yeah it is. I'm one of them freedom lovin Texans that doesn't do everything the government wants me to do.

Quite different from the "Socialist Republic of New York City".

By the way Pete, I don't recall you protesting when Cuomo was killing all the nursing home seniors with his covid policy, but now your worried about everybody else wearing masks?

Does The Masking bother you? YES wearing one bothers me.

And YES - I do believe the mask is sheep control.

And YES - I do see a facial recognition problem with terrorist wearing masks

It SHOULD bother you, and every other freedom lovin American.

Its amazing that many New Yorkers are SO CONCERNED about everyone wearing their mask "TO PROTECT OTHERS", but you NEVER heard one word out of'em when Cuomo was sending all those Covid patients to NURSING HOMES.

Maybe its because THEY THEMSELVES aren't in nursing homes.

My 88 year old mother (and others) SURVIVED Covid 19 that was BROUGHT INTO their nursing home, while whiners walking around wail away about me not wearing a mask.

BS!

It has been found that they can cause respiratory problems in some people. Especially if worn for long periods
of time.  I think this whole mask thing is BS anyway.

The difference between covid and the flu is I know people who catch the flu. Weren't the masks to flatten the curve not stop the disease? No hospitals being over run, herd immunity, we've done are part.
