im fortunate. Some of the best water in the country comes right out of my tap.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~`
  Oops!, must have been somebody else you were quoting.  My water is OK, but has a lot of lime in it.  Used to be great spring water, but then the county big-wigs decided our hamlet needed well water...a step backwards, IMO !
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Below see my post from July 21, 2020 @12:39..
I regularly travel to a nearby roadside spring that has been used by local folks since at least 1822.  I take 8 one gallon jugs and fill them.
  That's where my coffee and drinking water come from.  Farmersville; the local township where the spring is located, decided to not shut down the attraction, because of it's history..only posting a CYA sign.

You are not the only one lucky like tha. My home in PA relies on a well. It needed 470 feet of drilling to get to it. Good water but hard.

I only buy Silver Springs water. Comes out of the ground about 40 miles from my house. Best natural spring water I’ve ever drank.

We have a couple local springs like that, about 18 miles from me.  Once called the "Great Bear Spring" and another one used by a local bottler, is located on a farm owned by my childhood buddy.  He passed away a couple years ago, and I suppose his widow still manages the spring.
  The water is bottled by a regional firm that also markets apple cider in quantity. folks in western NY State, would recognize the name immediately.

I didn't want to advertise.. but OK, the name is Mayer Bros., a big name in such products around western NY.

I detest instant coffee.

If you get any around here that you didn't
make yourself, more than likely that's what
you'll get. To the mexicans around here
caf- ay means Nescafe or Don Pedro

I use instant if it means doing without,
just like I'll eat a bologna sandwich
rather than going without
18 MINUTES.  . . . . . .

Folgers used to make "tea bags" of coffee in foil packets. Maybe they still do. They were great to keep in a backpack.

I can honestly say ive NEVER bought water. Our water comes from underground water that is filtered by God and ends up in lake superior.

I've seen a little filter basket
specifically made to work in
those K machines. You fill it
with bulk coffee and run it
through your machine
  I had one of those, a little green one.  Sometimes it worked OK, sometimes it didn't !  ..But to be fair, it didn't fit my Keurig in a manner that engendered confidence.

 If my son had not bought the Keurig as a gift,I would probably still be using my old 2-cup, Mr Coffee !

  Bill didn't steer anyone wrong when he suggested instant coffee, since those freeze dried coffees, particularly Taster's Choice, are a step up from the old powder type (IMO).

Yup that's me. Put on a pink shirt take my golfin club in my beemer and go to Starbucks :o .
What?  No one goes to Starpukes and orders a grande, double latte, mocha, caramel macchiato, expresso, cappuccino?  Or whatever?

I don't own a golfin club or a beemer but I do own a pink golf shirt because my youngest grandson dared me to wear one and I called his bluff. I wore it once out in public to prove to him that grandpa really didn't give a hoot about what people think about the way he dresses. Now I only wear it at family get-to-gethers and will probably never wear the thing out. I will also confess to trying to drink one cup of Starbucks coffee a long time ago which I quickly threw in the trash. Yuck. If I'm going to buy a cup of coffee in my area I go to McDonalds. I don't know what coffee they use but it's pretty good.

I bet your water is no better than mine but my wife still insists on buying bottled water because it is easier to get a cold bottle of water out of the refrigerator than to get ice and tap water out of the fridge's dispenser.  ::) I retaliate by insisting that it be Ozarka bottled water which is supposed to be real spring water and not just processed water. She also has a habit of not turning out lights and leaving ceiling fans running. Her father worked for the local electric co-op and I tell her she doesn't need to help make sure he has a job anymore.  ;D

Never had one of those one shot machines.
Closest thing was an expensive espresso
machine I once had.  An old girlfriend took
posession of it along with everything else
in our apartment while I was at work one day

Instant coffee. While I am not a fan of Starbucks, they do sell an excellent instant coffee.
