I was on Zantac, then on Nexium. A superbug I contracted while in the hospital to have my pacemaker replaced necesitated I nolonger could use a proton pump inhibitor, so w tried Zantac again, which was marginally effective. What else was left?

We tried Pepcid 20mg with some success, but the max dose was 40mg, so we moved there, 20mg both morning and evening and that's where I am now. Even keeping reflux disease at bay.

Anyone else that finds themself in that situation may want to try it.
