I use the Savage 210F 12 ga.  It has a fully rifled barrel and shoots both the Remington and Winchester slug very well at 100+ yards, of course each gun is a law unto itself as far as ammo goes.  Recoil is stiff and a long eye relief scope is something that I suggest.  The gun because of the ga is rather large (I wish they made a 20 ga).  I reworked the trigger and it shoots like a rifle trigger not a shotgun.  If I were looking for a new one I would buy the new Savage with the accurra trigger (spelling) and never look back.  Savage maybe be the only one producing a bolt slug gun at the present.

I think that several bolt action shotguns have been dropped from production. Actually the inline's are more accurate, usable in shotgun areas but just don't give you that follow-up shot. Besides, if you use the one you have properly, you'll not need another.
