Hmm. Looks like a few posts got lost in the move.
Oh well. I took the rifle out to the range Saturday with a couple boxes of Igman and PMC ammo. Best group I got was with Igman, which was 3"; PMC opened up to 4.25". However, when I got home, I did notice that when I had broke the rifle down the night before, I hadn't tightened down the front trigger guard screw all the way. It just just loose enough to allow a slight bit of movement in the stock, so that may have effected something. The trigger pull is horrendous on the rifle though (while trying to squeeze off as steady as I could I could *hear* it creeking is it moved back ), so I went ahead and ordered a Bold Premium trigger for it, as well as a better scope (it came with a Tasco World Class 2x7-32, which I didn't particularly like but was just using to test it until I got a new one in), and a replacement striker spring to decrease the lock time a bit. I thought about going with the Dayton Traister kit w/ the trigger, new spring, and cock-on opening conversion, but I figured I'd leave it cock-on-close. I'd like it to shoot MOA with the above goodies added and some better ammo, but I'd be satisfied with 2" groups for hunting if I need to.
