I've noticed on the news and had several relatives tell me
that the thieves are really at it this year stealing packages
and especially Christmas decorations in this region.
My sister lives in a not-so-bad neighborhood, and there's
been a gang of sorts pretty much cleaning entire streets
of their outdoor Christmas ornaments. the next street over
from them, one of the neighbors has one of those cameras
and caught about 6-10 people in the wee hours working both
sides of the street gathering everything up, and carrying it all out to
a truck idling down the street. they're especially after those
inflatable snowmen, santas, etc. , and would literally yank
strings of lights out of shrubs and off trees, off the sides of
houses, etc.
