pretty much the same story with every invasive in every state.

if it weren't for the thought of job security for wildlife biologists
and wardens and the tree huggers that run most fish and game
departments, invasives could be quickly wiped out.
they need to allow hunters and fisherman that foot the bills to
take an invasive reptile or fish or animals by any way they can
at any time of the year any time one is spotted.
everyone around the nation knows that feral hogs and other feral
animals are a huge problem in this region, but the game departments
are loathe to let hunters have free reign to try to eliminate the
problem.
a wildlife biologist once told me when i asked why the regulations
were so restrictive on feral hog hunting, he replied " well we're
afraid that if someone saw a big buck while out hog hunting, they'd
take a chance and go ahead and shoot it"
i told him " isn't it already against the law anyway to do that ?"
he says " well. . . .yeah. . . .it is. . . . ."

makes absolutely no sense at all. . . .
18 MINUTES.  . . . . . .

I've watched some youtube lately that shows folks cleaning and cooking iguanas.
They say it's good.

Their not a problem except in south Florida. It much more tropical down there. You can ride through certain areas in Boca Raton and the iguanas are all over, but I’ve never seen one this far north.
