357 Max lever gun

I got to thinking the other day.   ::)   Always causes me trouble...  :-\   Anyway, has anyone ever crunched the numbers to see if opening up the cartridge length critical parts of a 92 clone is possible?   ???   I'm thinking converting a 357 Mag lever gun into a 357 Max here...   ;)

Yes I have seen one but it's quite costly.

The Marlin is too short without a lot of work. But the 92 is disable. The 94 and 336 easier.

I thought I needed one too.... Changed my mind when I saw the cost. ;)

I've been looking through LoadData and see that the 158 and even the 180 gr. loads can get up there in rifles.  I just thought it would be nice to have a little more stopping power for these 80 pound South Jawja White tails.  They been known to charge when wounded!   ;D
