Can brass hurt your bore?
«

I accidently ran a oversized brass patch jag through my .270 bore. It felt as if it was scraping. Did this hurt my gun.
Thank you.

Unlikely. Brass is much softer than barrel steel. Now if it had grit or contamination embedded in the soft brass that might but one time? Nope I'd not worry about it.
