I bought several different models from a guy named "Stan" (can't recall his last name) that used to advertise on Gunboards.
I had a Russian M44 that only shot to the sights with the bayonet extended.
I was determined to fix that, but the brass drift just peened over & wouldn't budge the sight.
I got concerned & suspected I would knock the base off the barrel, so I quit & searched the web.
Anyhow, I came up with these sight pushers & they did the job.
FWIW, you might want to reconsider the drift - I'm sure that a sight pusher would be cheaper than a trip to the gunsmith.
Side benefit is it is much easier to control the amount of movement.
