Is the Govt going to bail out guns shops?
« on: March 23, 2013, 05:27:17 PM »
I think this is a legitimate question. The government is at fault for the situation which is now or will be causing many gunshops to struggle......... I think it is their responsibility to bail them out.
Just another worthless opinion!!

I figure the only chance for that to happen is if the gun shop has unionized labor.

Unemployment insurance, WIC programs, general assistance, bankruptcy courts, yes I suppose it could be argued they will help them out.

Your point is taken though, they are being legislated out of business. Not a single free market force can be blamed for the failure.

Not so sure about gun shops TM7. From what I have gathered, the problem is having available inventory.  A large well stocked shop might be doing well but the smaller ones with limited backing sold out and then can not really re-supply.

it's been a good business of late for those with large stocks, and warehouses full of stuff for stores like walmart and academy and bass pro. the local shops did real well for about a month or two, but demand never dwindled enough for their supply and now there's just a handful of stuff

i did say a couple years ago though that i'd like to see the guns out of warehouses and circulating with the people who would enjoy using em. didn't mean to this extent though  :o
