Looking for new Tikka Whitetail ?
« on: February 18, 2004, 12:24:38 PM »
:D
I saw one today, very nice.
I think it is new, its on display, price was approx 600.

If I recall correctly it was .243

I wanted it immedialty....but I'm left handed, and it has a Monte Carlo Rollover stock...right handers only.

Shooters Supply, Sherman Tx.  903 868 8543.

I'm not connected in anyway, but if I seen it gone, I'm going to ask the guy if someone mention greybeards, and then I am going to ask for a discount :) hahahahaha  just kidding....maybe.....

If it's a WH Stainless Synthetic, I have the exact same gun in .243.  If I remember correctly, I got it Brand new in box for $550.

Yes, the WH Synthetic stocks do have a monte carlo-type molding.

I wish Wal-mart would stock rifles in the 6.5 Swede caliber.  I really, really wanted to get the Tikka T3 chambered for this.  Even when looking through their special order catalog on rifle lines that are chambered for the round (Win Mod 70 Featherweight, Tikka T3, Ruger M77, etc), the Swede has been omitted from the list :(.  I ended up going to GunBroker and ordering a sporterized Swede Mauser to get one (came close to getting a Howa M1500, but decided to save some money. The sporter only set me back $200).  The gun should be to my FFL handling it by weeks end :D.
