Chris Kyle, born April 8, 1974, died February 2, 2013. Kyle had160 confirmed kills as a sniper in Navy Seal Team 3. After four tours of Iraq, Kyle was murdered by former USMC member Eddie Routh. Kyle, Routh and ex-Seal Rorke Denver had gone to a remote shooting range for some recreational shooting. It is not known what happened but Routh was captured by police in Kyles Ford F350 after a short chase. Routh has not spoken to anyone including his lawyer. He has been charged with 2 counts of capital murder.

A memorial was held in Cowboy Stadium in Arlington, Texas. His funeral was held in Midlothian,Tx. The funeral procession from Midlothain to Austin was approximately 200 miles long. According to Texas officials it may have been the longest in USA history.

An American Hero is gone.  Remember him.
