Starting to shift

Anyone else notice the anti's are starting to shift their focus to handguns now that the AWB is meeting strong opposition?
 
Police Chief of New York says handguns are the REAL problem in his city, not AW's.  Others are starting to spout similar rhetoric.
 
Just proves what we all know - they want to ban anything and everything they can.

Yes, I do.  And I see it as nothing more than a realization by the gun grabbers that they are loosing.  What happens when a spoiled rotten kid doesn't get their way?  They throw a tantrum.  That's all that is happening here.

     Please!  dont think they are loosing, they have the Media on their side, the whole liberal ilk democratic party on their side and they are portraying US as evil because  we doint get on the public stage with them.  Jim  remember BABY STEPS

I just wonder how hard they are going to push this, because the Marxists are going to want to retain their seats in the Senate come the 2014 election. Unless they figure there are enough voters that plain just don't care about 2nd Amendment rights anymore. Which just may be the case, or very close to it. Hey, just as long as santa clause is on the ballet, life is great.

Another good sign is that the media, probably knowing that an AWB is not going to make it has shifted most of their focus away from gun control onto another one of their favorite issues - giving amnesty to illegal alien invaders.

The push for illlegal alien amnesty combined so closely with gun control will galvinize opposition. 

In 2007, the rank and file Republicans rebelled against GOP President G.W. Bush on amnesty for 3d world primitives.   There will be even more opposition this time  after the economic collapse and 20 million American unemployed.

Why not?  They are.  They did not achieve what they immediatly wanted to do.  That of course does not mean we let our guard down.  hence the reason why I just joined the NRA.
 
I have noticed a fair amount of fear mongering by alot of 2nd amndmt protectors, even when we have a good day.  We our under attack and for the moment at least, we are winning and standing our ground.  Have enough sense to take a brief moment and rejoice in that.  Maybe spread some cheer around the internet when we win one to generate some solid inspiration so others can follow.  Saying things like "Pleaze dont think they are loosing" or "the whole democratic party is on their side" are not only false statements, they are demoralizing to the reader.

Ever notice how the media likes to portray the anti-gun crowd as the anti-gun violence crowd,which I guess the logical conclusion is anybody that opposes them must be the pro-gun violence crowd?

that is why we must turn it around and keep referring to our side as Pro Constitution and Pro Second Amendment

perhaps we should refer to them as anti-Constitutionilists and anti Second Amendment
