Thanks, Graybeard. I had a question about a jamming problem with the 39-A and one of your very able contributors answered it for me in a timely manner. As there are probably more Marlin .22 rifles out there than you could shake a stick at, this could be very handy in the coming months.

I am not totally certain, but I think I read someplace that over 7 million Model #60s have been sold. Wow!
