THIS IS A WARNING

Well--not really a warning---maybe a heads-up would have been more appropriate.
I read the obits here--a lot.
Sometimes folks die and we never know it.
I know it don't make a lot of difference but IT sure would be nice if you mentioned to your loved ones to give us a ring when that time comes.
Just give em your handle and ask them to let us know and a few of the particulars.
Now this is fer you old fellers.
But---I have told the Hen to do this and told her it was OK to say she is happy to be free of me.

It's actually something we need to take seriously. My best friend dropped dead instantly with no prior symptoms one day and getting things straighted out took a while.
 
Just in the past month at work we've had one death, one emergency surgery, a spontaneous abortion, and a guy diagnosed with multiple cancerous tumors. That's not normal here, but it does illustrate how things can happen abruptly.
 
I keep a little contact list for my wife to use in case I can't communicate anymore.
