Star Lancer

Anyone know anything about this pistol? I have one and am amazed at the accuracy from such a small gun. Also amazed at how ammo sensitive it is since it will only feed Remington. But I can't find any info anywhere????

Thanks in advance!

I've looked all over for a week now and can't find anything about those guns. Got a pic of it?

Thanks for checking trying to find info on the Star Lancer... I can't find anything either.

I don't have a pic as I'd have to take the pic, develope the film, scan... etc...

Had the gun at the range a week ago shooting at 7 yards. Then went to 25 yards and the gun shot a half inch above the bulls eye. Exceptionally accurate (I think!) for a pocket gun with a 3 inch barrel and a little over 5.5 inch overall size.

I'm wondering what makes this gun so accurate? Rate of twist? It surely isn't my shooting ability since I can't equal that performance with other handguns. Also, it appears the barrel is not a steel insert into the aluminum frame but was drilled and machined into the aluminum frame itself then chrome lined. And I've never heard of that being done?

Thank you for the link! However... I couldn't find any Lancer 22LR specific info there either?

This is as close to a pic as possible.... bearing in mind that the actual Star Lancer 22LR model is shorter in barrel length and in butt length than the gun in the pic. But the rest looks extremely similar.

The Blue Book has it listed as a Model HK, similar to the DK (K is for alloy) and it runs $240@100% to $110 @60%. Was made from 1955-1968. More in terms of history and pictures are probably in the new Star book by Dr Antaris at: http://www.idsabooks.com/cgi-bin/idb455/index.html.
