I got my new rifle today.A Rem. mod 700 ADL .30-06,synthetic,with a Tasco 3 x 9 World Class 50 scope.Now I only have to wait 8 1/2 months till I can use for deer here in Bama.Damn....that's a very long time :x . Rick (waiting)

Yeh, with the nice weather down there in the southland you can hit the range and put it thru the paces. See what it'll do. We just ck'd yesterday to see if the road going to our shooting range had the snow plowed out so we could drive in rather than walk 1/2 mile.

I use almost the same rifle as one of my deer rifles. Mine likes 150 corelocks. The first 2 shots from a cold barrel will almost touch, with the third high and right. If I let it cool down it will do the same thing every time. Plenty good enough for where I hunt.
