Now they say the shooter at Sandy Hook used only handguns . The rifle was still in the guys car. NEVER WASTE A GOOD CRISIS as they say . BTW that was reported on NBC.

My concern then would be that instead of focusing on AR & AK types which is bad enough they may now turn their focus on to handguns.

I figure they already have at least the hi cap mags. The thing is in several shootings the hi cap mag malfunctioned and may have saved people

Yes,  it starting to stink even more......consider the declarations of the Medical Examiner who was widely quoted in the media immediately after that "the wounds are definitely from a .223/5.56 caliber rifle" .      Don't hear much about that now do we?    Wonder who paid the goon to say that?

I saw a news report shortly after the shooting that questioned how in the world the assult rifle got in the trunk...good question. But it seemed to get buried until now.

I am equally concerned on either type, all the same to me. And of course, all the same to them. There will be nothing they won't go after now, regardless of what was used, or what is reported, or what actually happened. They won't let any facts get in the way of this opportunity to wrap themselves in other people grief in order to further their agenda.

if they had some honest-to-goodness investigative reporters up there we would know the truth, but that liberal bunch wants to exploit those precious little kids to further their agenda to take our freedom.
I'm far from an expert on such things, but I would guess that they go to hell for exploiting children.

Actually, the first reporting I heard, did say that an assault rifle was found in the car, but then there were other reports that came later that said an assault rifle was used in the attack and that was how the shooter was able to inflict the carnage.  It sure seems that the reporting was more interested in exploiting than explaining.


None of that matters, because the grabbers got what they wanted and they're going to push it just like in every other country where commies, socialists and dictators get into power.  It's SOP.
