the reason that Glen Beck is more popular than Alex Jones, is because Jones comes off as a loud, out of control maniac, as he does here. You have to separate his TRUTHS, from his inability to CALMLY communicate.
He knew what the dialogue was going to be like, but instead of PREPARING, he had a handful of paper, and a loud voice. He did not help the gun owner's image, and he did not help the 2nd Amendment. Only the gun owner listened to that, and many of them didn't.

Ummm Alex Jones looked like a raving lunatic. Pro gun rights people need to quit going onto that British prick's show. Let him keep preaching his socialism to his choir boys. It will get old and his ratings will drop and he will fade into obscurity. Someone going on Morgan's show to argue gun rights with him is granting legitimacy to an otherwise worthless media malpractitioner.

The sad thing was that the attorney that followed Alex Jones spoke a little more softly but was more dangerous imo. Just because a snake doesn't hiss or rattle loudly at you doesn't mean it won't hurt or kill you.

Jones has proved over, and over, that he is an idiot. Is his info correct? Well yes, it most of the time is. Is Alex interested in exposing the truth? Enthusiastically so. But he never learns. He needs to hire someone to disseminate the info in an orderly, appealing way.

Well, now its working , exactely as the left wanted. Seperation and division between all. Yes , Alex blew his top , he was POed and meant what he said. If we all believed that our country could be great again as it once was, and had the opportunity on CNN we may loose it also. There is no real debate anyway, either live by the constitution or not. Sure does seem like libertys and morals are being lost and/or stolen daily. I applaud Alex for speaking up. Otherwise he would have been caught in the other lil traps, at least it brought the walk with his talk.Jones for president 2016!!!! We may have to take this place back one day, possibly by force???

Dee, I agree with you 100%. He has given the gun haters more fuel to throw on the fire. Now everyone thinks every gun owner is a nut case who can't control his anger and goes off shooting people. Piers played Jones to perfection . He used Jones to prove a point and Jones was too stupid to realize it.

Nugent is a radical and looks foolish at times. I had looked down at this draft dodging in the past. Also he has been on Morgan's show. There are 3 clips on youtube or google video. He is pretty good in it and well prepared for the attack. Morgan talks about his draft dogding and Ted explains. Be careful before you decide where someone failed. Ted Nugent Draft dodging? Then most all the young men back then who went to college were draft dogers too? Nope. I was there, I lived it, I was the first one in my graduating class of 54 students, 1971, who volunteered for the draft ( which was unofficially On Hold) so I was just a volunteer. One other guy did, but then got out on a Hardship discharge to help his sick parents. That made me the "only one" from my class then. Funny, since I didn't play sports ( I worked after school, rode horses, hunted deer) I was labeled a "thug and a coward" by the Coaches and Football team ( in Texas, football is 'The Fourth Person of the Godhead) ha. I didn't care what they thought of me at all, but I was the only Volunteer for duty.

Everyone back then knew that we were not trying to win the Vietnam war, it was just a meat grinder or a Grand Adventure ( depending upon where one was stationed, FB or in the Rear) I didn't have any money for school, so I risked it to get the GI Bill, but also for the Grand Adventure, it was a Rite of Passage for me. I never held it against anyone who was a Student or Reservist or Natl Guard. No one else I ever met in the Army did either. Now, those who went to Canada were Crap, and the President who "pardoned" them was even crappier "in my own opinion". But it was not easy to get into the Guard, or Reserves and if one was 1A and failed school, they were drafted, I served with a few who played in school instead of studying, ha. I myself got an "Early Out for College" in 1973 (2 months early) and I signed a contract that if I did not attend Full Time and made passing grades they "could recall me for another Two years!!! wow, made me tighten up, ha. So no, Ted wasn't a Draft Dodger. BTW I had orders to go to VN, but would have been stationed in Long Binh; a REMF on an 8 inch Arty piece, safer than working in the oifields of SE Texas (my other choice at the time). I was instead sent to Germany, froze my Heinie off, played with Nuclear Weapons ( Mutual Annihilation, what joy! ha) It was a different time, for sure. But "anyone" who is not a Citizen ( Pearce Morgan et al) has no "right" to speak against our Country nor its government. If they want to B--tch, they should become a Citizen. My inflation devalued .02

Your talking about now Texas State Representative Suzanna Hupp. She did not FORGET her pistol in the car. She stopped carrying it in her purse so she would loose her Chiropractic license. There was no CCL back then in Texas. She is one of the reasons there is now.

All three of these men are obviously knowledgeable, but they aren't going to change minds with their deliveries.........

Nobody is going to change their minds on the 'deliverables'. The left remains unchanged, as do we. Any of us who make the mistake of not giving a squat about someone's Bushmaster or AK and that it is alright if they take or ban those is exactly the split within the ranks that the left, and teh white house want to see.

This is ort of like what happened in nazi germany - nobody cared if they took the gypsies, then the jews, then the protestants and then finally there wasn't anyone left to cry foul over taking anyone else.

Jones may be a raving a-ho, and a maxed out conspiracy theorist but when the left starts screaming we had damned well have someone able to scream back. When LaPierre went with his statement that we should have armed guards in schools, the left just about crapped all over him, and it would have continued were it not for news reports of teachers in Utah being given free gun lessons, and then other people started thinking - hmmmm, would it work?? Obama just didn't like La Pierre's suggestion, even though his two girls are surrounded by armed guards every day they are in school.

And the left, controlled by both the white house and the media have yet to come forward with the public information that the killer used only pistols and that he sought out that one specific elementary school because that was the only one of 7 schools in his area that did not have armed security; just like the Aurora, Co. movie theater killer chose that specific theater because it was the only one of 7 in the area showing that particular movie that had a sign posted out front prohibiting firearms.

Ladies and gents: I'm afraid that we may well need a screamer to highlight this information and to ask the questions of why this very pertinent set of facts has never made it to the public, especially when the white house (biden) has already said that if obama can't get some sort of a consensus on gun control he will use executive privilege to do as he pleases (or just about) and that his anti-gun attny gen is just about frothing at the mouth to move to diarm the public. At that time I am hoping that lawyers for both the GOA and the NRA will jump all over it and get some sort of a injunction until all the facts can become known, and buttonhole the both of those commies.

I doubt that may change much of what the left wants but it may change a good enough number of minds to ask the question - why are we doing this when we should be doing something else? Why deny guns or ban guns when it is the issue of mental illness that needs to be addressed.

And ya know, apparently the nics system worked as the killer in Conn was denied the purchase of a rifle about a week before the murders. Well, something worked, so maybe we need to stop arguing amongst ourselves and start a written campaign to our local politicians and the white house about this information rather than having them depend on something as loosly interpreted as media reports. As biden said, the prez is looking for ideas from everybody, so let's give him our ideas.

I just watched him "interview" the head of Gun Owners of America again and of course Piers was his rude and pompous self. Later he had Arianna Huffington on and she proclaimed that people were clinging to guns because they were afraid of the future and the poor economy. Actually it was brilliant. Alex Jones created such a stir that other news agencies have now done reports on the interview, and are ripping Pierce Morgan's statistics and debate tactics to shreds.

I have an acquaintance that is semi-retired. He sits in his deserted shop all day and listens to his favorite guy on computer. ALEX JONES! When I run into him occasionally, he always asks me if I heard what Alex said about this, or that. I explain to him that I can only listen to Alex about 3 to 4 minutes. He gets on my nerves.
I have watched Alex off and on for about 10 or so years. He looks crazy.

I then discovered that he was a Radio Personality, so the only thing I got out of it was the Stats he brought up and the fact that the UK is not the Ideal Example of crime control! This is all for ratings for the handful of people who watch ol' Pearce/CNN. I dare say guys like us who watch blurbs on YouTube are higher in number than CNNs viewers, ha.
I know I'm old fashioned, but I honestly do not believe that any of America's Bill of Rights extend to foreign Talking Heads on News shows. In this case, no, I honestly do not believe that Pearce Morgan has any Free Speech right ( nor CNN to trot him out as proxy) to use his propaganda network position to criticize our Constitution, nor its interpretation. Sure, he has a "right" to his own personal opinion, but not to air it as propaganda. My opinion won't stop them from doing it, however, ha. I agree, 40yrs ago things were far different here and I too am sick and tired of them comparing the US with any other country; fact is, we are not like any other country in that we have a Constitution. So I don't care if there actually were any country that was totally disarmed, had zero gun violence, it still isn't America! I'm also put off by those folks who say "what does someone need an AR?" Simple, a free, Law Abiding citizen may simply want one. And this is the reason that a "1776 type" uprising will not be necessary, contrary to Mr Jones rant; just citizens saying "No" and not complying with illegal/immoral Laws will be enough. There will not be Bradleys and platoons going house to house confiscating anyone's guns.
Granted, I too believe these Citizens must have that "No" sent via emails/petitions/letters/calls to their Representatives. As a Minister, I know full well that if they can run Rough Shod over the 2nd Amendment, its just a matter of time before they will want to pressure me as to what I can say behind the Pulpit. And I agree, I like him OK but Ted Nugent is also an entertainer, so being over the top is par for him also, ha.
