another 30-30 handi rifle its been years since i bought one

Well I have 3 rim fires handi's 22lr 22 mag ultra & 17 hmr.. But my first love was the 2001 30-30win handi rifle...The problem is my 13 year old son uses it and loves it. He has 3 deer shot with it in the last 2 years...Every time I see one on the classifieds they sell quick....So yesterday I stumbled upon a 30-30 at the gun show.black synthetic stock nice blueing ejector barrel iron sights ...The Barrel  to reciever # even match...Picked it up for $200 which I thought was the going rate...Today I put a survivor stock on & a williams peep sight on it and gave the barrel a cleaning...If it ever warms up I will get to shoot it ...But its been years since I seen a used handi in 30-30 win. for sale in my area. I have two ejector models, and can definitely agree with that statement, about their accuracy.

I've got a Topper 58 in 30 WCF. Shoots both cast and jacketed very well.

You did very well.  It's almost impossible to find anything at a fair price at a gun show these days.  Most dealers seem to be shooting the moon.

My .30-30 is my most used Handi.  On a SB2 frame and I just love this rifle.
