I have been shootin the 2506 since 1971. My favorite 2506 load for varmints is an 87 grain Speer TNT loaded with Reloader 19 powder. It's accurate, and if you don't get too close to the edge of the hide it never comes out. I have nice bobcat mounted that I killed with this load. One small hole in the hide, with the inside like mush.

I had real good luck using IMR 4895 in my 25 , its a powder that is very forgiving and was designed to burn well in the 30/06 size case , I too found that the 87's did great on yotes but never got to use it for anything larger ( Ohio is a shotgun / handgun deer state ) so no need for larger bullets .

Deer taken with 115 gr. Berger VLD out of a 25/06.

My deer and everything load.

In my opinion the best coyote load is the one that gives the best accuracy.

I haven't loaded the 25-06 with bullets under 100 grains but RL22 worked well with the Nosler 100 gr. BT and Partitions.

It all depends on what distance away you shoot a yote. Inside 200 yards the light varmint bullets don't always exit and blow a hole the size of your fist but when you move out to longer ranges and they slow down they will exit and blow holes the size of your fist or larger.
For 100 gr and under bullets one of the 4350 usually does an outstanding job in velocity and accuracy.  I have killed well over 200 white tail deer in the past 20 years with a 25-06 and I have used a good deal of 100 to 120 gr bullets from many makers. The one that I have stuck with is the 117 Sierra. My rifle likes the Pro Hunter flat base best but they both are GREAT bullets for deer size game. BANG FLOP.
I use IMR 4350 with the 117 gr Sierra for 3000 fps average from my 26" barrel. The 4831s are really great for the heaver bullets and I have not tried RL22 but I hear good things about it.
