If someone really wants one that's really not that bad.
I bought mine a couple of years ago when they were still not that rare, from my local gunshop for around $280 out the door and even then I felt I had a good deal.
I'm glad I bought it and it's been a fun gun to shoot and very accurate.   I reamed the chamber to .454 Casull and I even shot it today with my favorite load of Trailboss powder under a 250 grain cast LRN bullet which pushes it to around 950 to 1000 fps.   Quiet, accurate, and gives a gentle little push as far as recoil.   She can be a beast with a full house load in the .454 Casull though.   Love the little gun!
My culled down Handi's are the 45-70, and then I have a few others to keep it company...357 Mag/Max. .45 LC/.454 Casull Carbine, .243 Ultra, and 20 gauge Tracker II.
