Not bad. I paid $399 in 2006 for mine from Gander Mountain.
I have more guns than I need, but not as many as I want.

That doesn't sound like to bad of a deal.
Bought my BC from a Davidson's local dealer this year Sept. it was $479.+change, out the door including 7% sales tax.

If you want one, and like the looks of that one, buy it; the dollar isnt getting to be worth any more than it is right now.

Late last Summer or early Fall a local dealer had one on consignment for 300.  It was in perfect condition and had only 10 or 12 rounds through it.  It seems the owner didn't like the recoil and the metal butt plate.  I don't know if it's still there, but can find out if anyone is interested.  It's on the U.P. of Michigan.

I refuse to set foot in any Walmart and will pay more to support a local gun shop.  Usually, they're not that far off on prices anyway.
Lead me not into temptation but point me to it instead.

We all have our reasons for the value judgements we make, but, FWIW, everybody that works in our local WalMart is an American who needs a job.
