45 ACP O-ring trick?

anybody ever try using a rubber o-ring on the rims of 45 acp so they head space in a 45 colt or 45colt/410 chambered handi rifle?

I've used moon, and half moon clips to shoot in 45 Long colt. They are actually faster than speed loaders. Ya got me on the handi though.

I've done that little trick, it works ! I wouldn't want a steady diet  of it , it's very 'labor intensive' and it really is just a trick.
