it has begun
« on: December 12, 2012, 06:03:13 AM »
i just saw on the news this a.m. that there will a $65.00 per person 'charge' for obama care for three years...

that's not much...but for a family of 4, that's an $260.00 per year outlay in addition to income taxes.

IMO...it has just begun...every week there will be a "New" tax/fee/surcharge initiated until they will nearly consume the average wage earners income.
don't squat while wearing your spurs...will rogers

My health insurance (no dental, no vision, very basic)  from work costs me $200/week for my wife and I.
Why don't we complain about the private Insurance companies excessive profit?  What about the inflated prices the big pharmaceutical companies charge?  What about the impossible to understand and deceptive insurance billing practices?

I'm very disappointed w/ obamacare, it's no better.... it is a handout to the insurance co.'s by forcing us to buy insurance from private, for profit, poorly regulated companies.

What's needed is single-payer universal healthcare ... non-profit.

That may be. I don't know the answer, but when your health insurance is your single biggest bill by a large margin... something is broken.
Jesus said we should treat other as we'd want to be treated... and he didn't qualify that by their party affiliation, race, or even if they're of diff religion.
