barrel fitting on H&Rs
« on: December 08, 2012, 03:06:54 PM »

I am having a problem finding a frame that is tight enough to allow my 7 08 barrel to fit properly.  It occured to me that if there are different dimensions between various combinatios of these coponents it might be measurably possible to head off " blind " fitting attempts. Two measurements could be taken, one from the breech face to the breech side of the hinge pin in the frame, and the other from the rear of the barrel to the rearward point of the lug's hinge pin cutout on the barrel assy.  COMMENTS?       kody

Sure it could work, but fitting just isnt that difficult and IMHO, hardly worth the effort and wait looking for a barrel that "fits" your dimensions.

What problems are you finding fitting your barrel?
