After spending some time this AM on the phone with various Congressgoons and the Department of Labor we found a work around on Obama Care!!!!!!!!! ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D
Right on the Dept of Labor web site is the easy "pass" on the Obama Care requirement for employers! Anyone can sign a waiver with their employer stating that they do want the insurance benefits! In that case, the employee becomes liable for maintaining insurance for themselves and the employer gets a pass. One thing though, the waiver must be signed PRIOR to accepting employment ( no big deal, MM can lay off my wife and rehire her)

The other exception is of course......SEASONAL EMPLOYEES who may work many hours during a season but few or none in the off season. ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

My wife only brings in about 20,000 a year at her part time job, which may not seem like much to many here, but it's a huge help to us! I'm only a GS-6 and that extra 20 is a LOT by comparison! :-\
