Early effects of obamacare.

Ins companies are getting real nasty anticipating full effects of obamacare. A man we go to Church withs brother had back surgery last week. The dr ordered pain meds that were not given for 3 days because the hosp couldn't get approval from the ins company.
My daughter has a mass on or around her colon, she was scheduled for a biopsy or some sort of tests on the 18th. Ins co refused to pay, she still doesn't know what it is.
Wake up people, hussein and his forced obamacare has gotta go. POWDERMAN.

For the last couple of years, we were allowed an annual physical with no copay as per our Medicare Senior Advantage program.  That was attributed to the passage of Obama care.  We are now told that that is history.  I specifically remember that the advocates of Obamacare made a big deal of all the "free" preventative stuff we would get under commie care.  Not that it matters a lot, because I'm not dumb enough to think there is a free lunch.  We will pay for anything we get--one way, or the other. 
 
It does look like the insurance companies possibly are testing to see if there is any actual beef behind the bull$#1t that comprises Obama care.

My daughters health care insurance doubled as soon as it passed. She has no claims on her insurance. This mandated healthcare doesn't even look good on paper. There is nothing free from this administration except the middle class paying more and more. Thanks Obama for looking out for us. Your so called concern for Joe Citizen is underwhelming.

My wife is an RN at a fairly large hospital system.
Here job is documentation inspection.
Basically she makes sure things are documented correctly for everyone to be happy.
She tells me it will be a nightmare for a while until they finally get it all sorted out.
Mostly because even the government doesn't know what they want right now.
So you should expect delays on any care or procedures.....

The money goes to government paychecks, not to medical treatment. Adding umpteen layers of regulation with paychecks at each layer is like filtering a drop of water through a big sponge. Don't expect much to pass through.

Insurance companies have always been nasty when it comes to the paying part...that's nothing new....now everyone can just blame Obamacare  for everything that goes wrong with health care and greedy insurance companies and hospitals.  Mindreading is a gift I wish I had(anticipating full effects of obamacare) Ha Ha

You're right. They have been nasty. I think Obamacare kicks it up a notch, though. The way I see it, the insurance companies now have a lot of new incentives to deny payment for a broader spectrum of care.
 
It also creates incentives for employers to reduce benefits, and that is definitely happening in a widespread way.
 
All of those pressures to get you out of an employer based plan and into a government plan are working. The diabolical thing is that the state exchanges either aren't established at all, or are established but not functioning well.

so many procedures under obama-care will be cut out that I fully expect that when I need a new defibrillator, I will have to let it beep until the battery runs down and let it stay in there doing nothing.
expensive heart procedures will be hit the hardest for OLD people.

It's all about denying care to old people. People who don't need coverage will be covered, and so will illegal aliens. But the people who have been paying into the sytem all their lives are being hung out to dry.
