Marlin levers...
« on: October 01, 2012, 11:47:51 AM »
I have a quick question. I have a spare Leupold scope base for a Marlin 336R. My cousin is asking me if he could use it on his Marlin .444 lever (Not sure the model) since I dont need it. My question is about if it will fit his .444 as well? I'm not sure if the holes would line up. Is is typically the same rilfe design? Or, is it different and I should just tell him it will not fit?

A quick check of Brownel's indicates all the Leverguns take the same Weaver base.

It should fit no problem.
