baikal 22/410
« on: September 28, 2012, 02:22:50 PM »
Anyone have on those these little numbers? Local shop has a used one been sitting for almost a year now so I think I can snag a good deal on it. Anyway ran a search and turned up some general info on the 94 series but was wondering what to expect from this little guy. Seems barrel regulation is hit or miss might be able to snag a bore sighter though to check first. Are they built as tough as other baikal guns?

I was looking at that combination a while back and ended up passing on it.  I determined the 22lr/410 was not right for my needs.  22 mag/20 ga would be great for me as I would be using it for raccoon, opossum, skunk, water moccasin and rattle snakes.

If the price is right and it fits your needs then checking the barrel regulation prior to purchase would be a great idea.  My Baikal combo was regulated perfectly the barrels on my Spartan were so far off it was not usable.

Everything I have seen is that the Baikals are solid guns.

Good luck,

Doug
