Wow! I've seen this with the letters out of order, but this is the first time I've seen it with numbers.               Good example of a Brain Study: If you can read this OUT LOUD you have a strong mind.            And better than that: Alzheimer’s is a long, long, ways down the road before it ever gets anywhere near you.

If you can read the following paragraph, forward it on to your friends and the person that sent it to you with 'yes' in the subject line. Only great minds can read this. This is weird, but interesting!                         If you can raed this, you have a sgtrane mnid, too.                         Can you raed this? Olny 55 plepoe out of 100 can. After the first line, I read it through. Weird, how you mind sees only a few letters and the number of letters in a word to read it.  I can be jumbled as long as a few are right.

Not much difference between reading this and reading some of the posts on this and other forums.  Makes one wonder about the mental powers of some folks who can't spell and can't figure out how to use spell check.

Another thing about this is that there are just enough words properly spelled to give "context" to follow. Without that it would be nearly impossible.

I've seen things like this made up of just one letter per short common word and the first and last letters of other common words adding a minimal list of letters as needed, like f u cn rd ths thn u r smrtr thn a PhD in Egptlgy.

Old Syko said what I was thinking; I would only add that it was somewhat easier to read than many posts in the political forum.  I could mention one poster in particular, but then this post would more than likely be deleted.

Add me to the list.  My diction, grammar and punctuation may leave something to be desired but at least I try.  Mind you I am not criticizing those who, depite their best efforts just cannot get a handle on it.  I criticize those who dismiss offhand the importance of proper written and spoken words and fail to recognize language as the true craft that it is.  I love reading authors (such as Tolkein) who take the craft of language to the next level.

OK for all those guys that are always complaining about my spelling, too bad your mind is not fully working.  Know you can't read this.  But like others said it is not much different than reading some of the post on this and other forums.

I copied this and sent it to some friends.  My spell checker went crazy.

Guys, I wasn't referring to the spelling used by some posters here that leaves me scratching my head, it is some of the far out references to off-the-wall, mind numbing thoughts and topics that causes my befuddlement.  Writing is at best, more of an art than a science, but the subject matter from one in particular is what leaves me speechless.

I copied this and sent it to a friend.  She is a retired Army Linguist.  She speaks Russian, German, Croate, French, and Arabic.  She could not read it till she got half way down the page.  Now she is all worried since she could not read it from the start.  I also sent it to her Husband who is an Attorney, waiting to see how he does.

What really suprises me is that after the first three words or so I can read it every bit as fast as if it were correct.

If you think that is strange I can understand spoken Minnesotan and North Carolinian. For some real fun watch a Minnesotan try to talk to a Southerner. Being from Illinois I was the interperator for those two. :D

At a office party yesterday I handed this to some of the Attorneys.  They could not read it, yet their wives could.

Richard, where are you?
