Weatherby Mark V 340 mag?

I have a chance to buy a used[like new] Weatherby Mark V  340 mag with composite stock and a ported SS barrel. Included is a Weaver V9 scope, dies, and several boxes of ammo. He is asking $600. What do you think?

Doesn't sound to bad except for the ported barrel bit.  It is going to have a muzzle blast that will make a brass monkey flinch.  Make sure you get great ear plugs and the best set of muffs you can.  Lawdog
