ready for moose camp

We loaded the ammo, sighted the rifles and had most the gear packed.  We were supposed to head up to camp this evening.  But with hard rain, winds 22-25 sse with gusts of 30-40, and not that good of a tide, we've decided to wait a day.  Maybe the weather and water will settle down. With this kind of weather is so much nicer to be home by the wood stove instead of shivering in a tent on a thermarest. Hope we get as lucky as last year - but for my 14 yr son to do the shooting.

My gun is done, Norman still has work to do on his.  I am starting to pack my trailer.  We don't leave till the 28th for Caribou.  Then mid Sept we are going for Moose.

Good luck guys. I won't be able to hunt until next year here. I thought I possibly had a moose hunting place, but it was all posted. Applying for GMU 13 caribou next year.
