May Clinic quacks?
« on: July 16, 2012, 02:13:24 PM »
Got an ad for A Mayo Clinis health newsletter for only $1.99 a month.  There was a testimonial from someone who learned to take vitamin D, and his pains went away the FIRST night!  It looked like the stuff you get from Publishers Clearing house or a car dealer.  I thought May would be ablove this stuff.  My guess is that they picked up my name or wifes name (we have the same initial and that is all they used) from my looking up stuff about our ailments--I have gone to the Mayo sight a lot to see about cancers, pains, knees, hips, and other things.  They list the standard procedures just like the local hospital uses.  The other source could be AARP, insurance lists, or random mailings to anyone over 65.

I lost a lot of faith in what I can find on their web sight now.
just because you're paranoid doesn't mean they are not watching you
