See all 3 photos » LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) - - Two people in Louisville are facing charges Thursday after police say they left two small children alone in a house with no power.
Police say Robin Howard, 30, and Kashaun Key, 20, left the children in a home on South 23rd Street that was 85 degrees inside and infested with fleas and roaches.
Police say the children were covered in bug bites and roach poison.
After searching the home, police said they found marijuana, pills and other drug paraphernalia in the home. They also said there was a stolen gun in the house.
The children were taken to the Home of the Innocents
