I don’t know how many of you guys are aware of the “Pencil Test” method to determine the hardness of lead alloy. I was recently introduced to the technique and just added the details to an article I wrote some time ago titled Evaluations & Recommendations for Lead-Alloy Hardness Testers. For more information on the Pencil Test and lead-alloy hardness testers go to
http://www.texas-mac.com/Evaluations_and_Recommendations_for_Lead-Alloy_Hardness_Testers.html
. While there, check out the other articles and stuff on my web site.
