Dealer called and my rifle is in! Went and picked it up. The box was sealed from the factory and I got to open it. Boy  was the rifle it greasy! It was suppose to have the "Super Cell Recoil Pad and had the old style sold one on it. They got one coming from Remington and should be in next week. The catalog even said it come with one. Oh well I'm happy and took the gun home and cleaned it. The action is smooth when I got it after cleaning its like hot butter. Had a 4X32 scope put on it I had around that has been on a few guns. Can't wait to go shooting to sight it in.

You shouldn't need one of those super recoil pads unless you have an injury.

Welcome to the wonderful world of pump rifles. For some reason the 760/7600 have more felt recoil. You'll like the softer recoil pad. My 7mm-08 has a plastic butt plate.

Just for the heck of it, this rifle planned for a bear hunt, I would try the 180 gr RN's from Remington and see if you be happy with the groups.
