I was at a shoot last weekend most guys are using a cannon  lock with cap
anyone have some suggestions as i like to findone for my GB cannon
flint would be  neat but i would settle for musket cap set up
I foundone at dixie muzzelloaders but wanted to ask if there are any others out there
im also figure you set this up with musket top hat type caps or  can you use #11 caps??

I too like to have a lock system sometimes.  I made my own out of some brass fittings and other scrap parts.  It uses a musket cap and the light trigger pull does not move the cannon to mess up the aim.  It works without having to alter the vent hole as I usually use quill or fuse.

Me likey  ;D !  ;D !  ;D ! I would love to make a snap lock similar to this with interchangable nipples including one that would accept 22 blanks...............  :o 8) Nice work GLS
