Factory 357 Max looks promising
« on: June 08, 2012, 10:50:46 AM »
I pulled together enough components to try my factory 357 Max today. I don't have the modified seater plug for the 180 SSP's yet so I loaded some 158 grain JHP's over IMR-4227 to see if there is any accuracy potential with this rifle. The 2nd load I tried looks promising, 0.6" at 25 yards using the factory iron sights. I plan on switching to a peep/firesight combo which I shoot much better with. Not bad for the 1st time out with the rifle, though.
