Relatively substantial evidence.....
« on: June 01, 2012, 10:21:06 PM »
This scientific study offers fairly good proof that there is a hard-core group with whom "race" means everything in the voting booth.
Policy, belief, "conviction" have little to do with their decision when compared to the "racial" issue..
    http://www.slate.com/articles/news_and_politics/victory_lab/2012/06/racicalization_michael_tesler_s_theory_that_all_political_positions_come_down_to_racial_bias_.html

Not that they are alone, but obviously those whites who have been willing to vote for Herman Cain in the past primary, or black people who are willing to vote for Mitt Romney in the coming election, have transcended this hangup.

Still, very interesting to note that a substantial number will dump their "convictions" in favor of a racist view.

If you don't want the truth, don't ask me.  If you want something sugar coated...go eat a donut !  (anon)

I am not argueing the point--it is a real point.
BUT---it is interesting that we learn nothing from history.
It seems more to the point that man is truely fallen and insane---we keep doing the same things expecting different results.

No matter how we align ourselves in the voting booth, humanity will eventually become an amalgam of personalities, theologies, and convictions.  Unless we wipe ourselves off of the face of the planet first...which is a real possibility.
