Updated today at 12:02 PM        SEATTLE (AP) — A 3-year-old boy who refused to use his seatbelt never got off the ground when he and his father boarded an Alaska Airlines flight at an airport in Seattle.
The pilot returned to the gate at Sea-Tac Airport on Saturday and asked the father and the boy to get off.
Alaska Airlines says it was a matter of safety and the pilot would rather deal with it on the ground than in mid-flight.
The father, Mark Yanchak of Everett, told KIRO-FM (http://is.gd/CxbZIF ) the crew overreacted.

3 year olds have no business on airliners. They are just too loud an unruly and there is no shutting them up. Parents who will even consider taking a kid like that on an airliner deserve to be punished if things go badly. I don't want to pay six hundred dollars or more to sit in an airplane listening to some screeching kid for several hours. Same kind of thing goes for restaurants.

To fly the airplane you wear the seatbelt... Pretty simple rules.  You don't want their rules.... Get your own airplane.

3 years old and even younger can be controlled, it starts at home with low velocity impacts on their butts and applied as needed. ;)

That is why I said it starts at home and not in a public place. Any acting up in a public place will have consequences at home.
