45 ACP reamer for HandiRifles?

Saw in the reamers-available-for-rent sticky that a 45 ACP reamer can be had.  Which HandiRifle is this intended to rechamber?  Does it involve setting the barrel back on a .45LC?

Me and my Colt 1911A1 Series 80 Government are "just curious"....

None can be done on a factory barrel, it would only work on a rebored small bore or a stub or possibly a liner.

Works great on a GM .452 barrel blank used as a liner in a 20 ga Pardner barrel. ;D   If you do a liner I would suggest you go with a 12 ga barrel to reduce the amount metal you have to remove from the barrel blank to get it to fit inside the host barrel.

Well I suppose Im going to have to get it..........
Ive got an old, long 45C take off barrel from a revolver that I can rechamber and turn a 20ga. chamber stub to fit it into, and a bore ride muzzle slug; should make a dandy 45ACP insert barrel.

It's an ejector, the host barrel is a 20 ga pardner or topper I don't remember.  I believe I modified the post of the ejector (a 30-30 ejector) to work with the 45 ACP case.  A 30-06/308 ejector should work w/o modification but if you use a shotgun barrel underlug you will need to modify it for a lifter button & spring.

Bore will likely be a bit oversize for 45 ACP - .454 vs .451

Think I'd consider buying a raw barrel blank from GM.  These are pretty reasonable and can be trimmed to whatever taper you want.  8)

I just ordered two of those blanks this morning.  One will be chopped in half for some drop-in inserts for a double 12-ga shotgun--the other may turn into a .454 Casull stubbed Handi-Carbine.
