Hotshot
« on: May 05, 2012, 04:03:58 PM »
I was in Academy a few weeks back, picking up some ammo. I saw the sale tag on the TC Hotshot and asked to see it. Well, out the door in a flash. $168.00 & tax. I figured that at that price if I didn't want to keep it, I could give it to someone's kid for a starter.
I added the included stock spacer and a small slip on pad.
This little thing is a hoot! I'm shooting Colibris or Winny Match CB Longs. It's a pine cone killin' fool!
When out on the lease, I stick it in one of those shotgun scabbards you see at all the gun shows and sling it over my back.

Nice little guns. I got one for my grandson's Joey and Wyatt. Both are scoped tho I'm not satisfied with the scopes on either of them. Eventually I'll replace their scopes with Leupold 4X rimfire scopes.

I played with one in a store for a few minutes, I think it would be perfect for my 7 year old.  May have to look a bit closer when we get back home.  DP

I'm thinking about going ahead and getting one of these for my great grand daughter. She's not quite old enough yet but I'll have it when she is. They won't get any cheaper if I wait.
