Take-Down Screw Tool
« on: May 03, 2012, 10:19:16 AM »
The local big auto dealers keep sending me keys that do not work in their give-away cars, and I am loathe to throw anything with promise away. Since we usually have a set of keys with us when we go into the field or to the range, one of these modified is right at home.
Cut the key end off at the widest part and deburr the edges/corners. You now have a stubby screwdriver for the take-down screw. Slip it on with the rest and you are good to go. Another one cut off just above the tumbler notches will give you a smaller screwdriver too.

Nice idea!

My quandary, I personally, don't think I have enough Handi's but, I know I have more Handi's than I really need or should have.
