I would say a used Marlin or Winchester in 30-30, that would be the most common and if you don't reload buying factory 30-30's would be more reasonable and available.  Nothing like a good ol 30-30.

On a budget a thirty-thirty off used gun rack is the best deal.  I would make sure that I got one that a scope could be mounted on.  Recent visits to gun stores show a lot of 30-30 rifles on the used gun racks.  If you go up in caliber the price of the rifle increases along with the price of ammunition.
I like the 35 Remington but ammunition is harder to find.  44 Magnum is easy as 30-30 to find, himm wonder why? ;)

Buy a used browning blr in .308 and a cheap reloading set. If you look around You can get the whole rig for about 550. I got so many guns I don"t know what to do with them. I'm a hunter not a collector and finally settled on a .308 for all round use. You will love it !

Used Marlin 336s in .35 Remington can often be found for $250-$350. No better bargain exists. The .30-30 would be my second choice from your list with the .45-70 in dead last place.

Don't over look the .44 magnum or .45 Colt if you find one at a decent price but I'm betting both will run you a couple hundred dollars more than the .30-30 or .35 Rem.
