Wonder if anyone has any information on a Stevens Westfield ( Savage) model 982 .22 cal bolt action rifle.
Would like to know when they were made how many and any other info.
Have one that I build from a kit I purchased from Gun Parts Corp a number of years ago and have been useing it for small game ever since, will keep 5 rounds in a 1/2 inch group at 75 yds if I do my part ( with a scope).
The only thing I found bad was the trigger which I reworked and now is sweet.
